Legal challenge to Democratic state rep.’s win heads to Georgia Supreme Court

A lawsuit hard Democrat Shea Roberts’ narrow victory in a community state Household election previous 12 months will be listened to on enchantment by the Supreme Courtroom of Georgia. 

Meanwhile, Deborah Silcox, the Republican incumbent who dropped — or perhaps received, according to the lawsuit backers — suggests she is undecided on working once again in 2022 irrespective of a campaign finance program glitch that designed it seem like she was.

The most important expenditure in that campaign report: $15,000 for Silcox to retain a lawyer for the Supreme Courtroom situation.
